Believe it or not, this here is one Chicagoan who really doesn't give a crap that the Chicago Bears are playing the Super Bowl tomorrow.  I'm actually quite annoyed with all the frenzy over it.  It's come up in every single one of my classes, numerous times.  People everywhere are decked out in Bears sweatshirts, hats, etc.  Bears Bears Bears, ( Read more... )

Saw the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre's production of Hamlet yesterday with my parents.  It was fantastic; this was the first time I've ever seen any production of Hamlet.

Hamlet is actually one of the works of Shakespeare that I'm least familiar with.  I've never read it, I never saw any film adaptations or other theater productions of it.  But it ( Read more... )
